Golden Horseshoe Gold Course
Located in Williamsburg Virginia, the Golden Horseshoe Gold was designed by legendary golf course architect Robert Trent Jones. A timeless layout cut out of Virginia pine forests and rolling terrain. This course has hosted several USGA championships and recently hosted the 2007 NCAA National Men’s Championship. In 2008, Golf Digest ranked the Gold course of one of “Americas 100 greatest public courses!”
The Golden Horseshoe Gold Golf Course’s history is intertwined with the history of golf. The Gold course has hosted 5 USGA championships and recently hosted the 2007 NCAA men’s Golf Championship. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, touted by some as the best course designer of all time, this golf course will test your game from the first tee to the eighteenth green. Golden Horseshoe Gold Course Renovation
In 2017 The Golden Horseshoe Gold Course added another chapter to it’s prestigious history. The Gold is currently going through extensive renovations and updating. All Greens, Fairways and Tees are being resurfaced with more modern grasses significantly improving their playing conditions. The Gold Course re opens late summer 2017.
