Fred Couples and course architect Gene Bates teamed up to design Heron Ridge Golf Club. The course opened in 1999 and has established itself as a local's favorite. Generous landing areas make this course very playable off the tee. Fourteen holes play along or across lakes, creeks and wetlands. One the back nine Holes eleven through thirteen are a fun stretch to play. A short almost reachable par four sandwiched between two unique par fives. When in Virginia Beach try Heron Ridge you won't be disappointed. If you have a group of 16 or more the group leader is free!
