Virginia Beach National Golf Club
Virginia Beach National opened in 1999 and was formerly TPC of Virginia Beach. Designed by Pete Dye with consultation from Hall of Fame touring pro Curtis Strange this course features generous fairways, bordered with large waste bunkers and challenging greens. Green speeds are typically some of the fastest in the area.
Virginia Beach National hosted the Nationwide Tour’s Virginia Beach Open for several years and can play over 7,200 yards from the back tees. In typical Pete Dye fashion many fairways are cut at “risk reward” angles giving golfers the option to gamble or play conservative from the tee. Test your game on the same course that many of today’s tour stars played while on the Nationwide Tour!
