ABOUT VIRGINIA GOLF VACATIONS

Virginia Golf Vacations is based out of Williamsburg, VA and was launched in January 2008.  Owned and operated by Premier LLC which has been booking golf and family vacations in Williamsburg for over eight years.  Virginia Golf Vacations recently expanded and now includes golf vacations to Virginia Beach and the Northern Neck area of Virginia.  Our team is made up of industry professionals that have many years experience in Hotel Operations, Golf Operations, and Group Reservations. 

Our goal is to make the planning process as smooth and simple as possible, especially for "group leaders" or "trip captain's."  We understand how difficult it can be to get everyone organized and will help with the planning process even helping with course, accomodation and restaurant selections based on group preference.  We also have special payment options that allow group members to pay individually, taking the financial burden of the group away from the trip planner.

Golf Director and part owner, Chris Hartig, is a PGA member with 22 years experience in the golf business, the last 17 years as a club professional. He has held many golf professional positions at four different clubs in Virginia and Florida.In 2008 Chris left his position as the Director of Golf at Kingsmill Resort & Spa to join our team.  He is responsible for day to day operations, marketing and business development. Chris was employed at Kingsmill for nine years and has been very involved in the Williamsburg and Virginia Golf Community.   He currently is a regional director on the Middle Atlantic PGA's southern chapter board of directors. Chris can be reached at 757-221-0540 or chartig@virginiagolfvacations.com

Shannon Hartig, also part owner and creator of Premier LLC, has been employed in the hotel industry for 18 years.  She is currently Director of operations for the Carlton Hospitality management group.  Prior to overseeing day to day operations in the hotel properties Carlton Hospitality manages she served as the General Manager at Days Inn Historic located in the Colonial Williamsburg area.  Shannon also served as President of the Williamsburg Hotel Motel Association for two seasons. Shannon can be reached at 757-220-1924 or shartig@carltonhospitality.com

Golf coordinator, Nichole Mitchell has been employed by Premier since 2007 and also serves as the call center manager for both Virginia Golf Vacations and Williamsburg Vacations.  She has been booking golf  and family vacations in Williamsburg for nearly five years.  Nichole has developed relationships with many group leaders that will "only" call her each year to assist in planning their group's golf vacation.  She has many fans because of her she makes all of her group leaders look good!  Nichole can be reached at 877-806-8163 or nichole@virginiagolfvacations.com

Reservation agent and golf specialist, Michelle Henry is the newest member to our team.  She joined us in the summer of 2009 and is also a local of the Williamsburg, Virginia area.  She is quickly becoming a favorite among group leaders developing many "fans" of her own.
